Goldie Hawn was born on 21 November 1945 in Washington, D.C. She is an American actress, producer, dancer, and singer. Hawn began taking ballet and tap dance classes at the age of three and danced ballet in the Nutcracker produced by the Russes de Monte Carlo Ballet in 1955. In 1964, she made her debut as Juliet in the production of Romeo and Juliet at the Shakespeare Festival in Virginia.


Goldie Hawn started her career as a dancer but later switched to acting on television and in movies. Hawn was a successful TV actress in the 1960s and was nominated for two Emmy Awards in the process. In 1969, she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie with “Cactus Flower”. Hawn’s long-term collaboration with Kurt Russell began with the filming of multiple films, starting with Disney’s “The One And Only, Genuine, Original Family Band”.
