Heather Thomas was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on September 8, 1957. She is an American actress, writer and political activist. She first made a name for herself with Talking with a Giant, the NBC television show on which she was the host. Beginning in 1981, Thomas played Jody Banks in Glen Larson’s The Fall Guy. She also starred with Lee Majors. Thomas became addicted to cocaine during his time in the program and gradually recovered in the mid-1980s.
Thomas left acting in part because of stalkers and a desire to focus on his family and explore writing. When Reuters asked her why she quit acting, she said “I was getting so stalked. I had one guy climb over the fence with a knife one time. I had these two little girls and they desperately men raising so that was that. But I think now I have gotten so old that people won’t bother me much.”
