Nicolas Kim Coppola (born January 7, 1964), known professionally as Nicolas Cage, is an American actor and filmmaker. Cage has been nominated for many film awards for an outstanding acting performance and won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas (1995). He squandered it on a series of expensive and often eccentric purchases that ended in foreclosure on several properties and $6.3 million in property taxes owed to the I.R.S.Cage, who is now worth about $25 million, will work hard to pay off his debts.
