JULIE NEWMAR

Julie Newmar was born on August 16, 1933, she is an American actress, dancer, and singer. Newmar has two siblings who are Peter Bruce Newmeyer and John A. Newmeyer. She has been dancing since she was a child and has been a prima ballerina with the Los Angeles Opera since she was 15. Julie Newmar is renowned for portraying Sveg Katrin in the Broadway play The Marriage-Go-Round for which she even won the Tony Award for Best Actress.

The versatile performer also portrayed Catwoman in the 1960s Batman TV series and received many credits, exemplifying the perfect mix of brains, humor, and beauty all in one person. She later took on fewer acting projects and became an entrepreneur thanks to investment planning, but she hasn’t lost her charm.
