Elinor Donahue (born April 19, 1937) is an American actress who played Betty Anderson in the American sitcom “Father Knows Best” in the 1950s. Donahue was born in Tacoma, Washington, on April 19, 1937, the daughter of Doris Genevieve (née Gelbaugh) and Thomas William Donahue.This actress started acting when she was very young.
